September 1st is already here and look how the month is getting started!  Mother nature has made her entrance today!!  We have a few trees down in my backyard but no damage to the house and we NEVER lost electricity!!  Yes, I have been scrapping like crazy-well, for me that is!!  I have completed 3 layouts since Friday and boy, is that a lot for me.  

I really love them and hope you enjoy them too!

Your Mama Don't Dance Recital 2007

This layout is designed around Alexis's outfit from her tap recital dance.  The outfit has circle in the print. i even cut out some of the circles from the outfit!  I also cut off the sequins from the neckline of her outfit!!  Some of the Technique Tuesday circles are inked with VersaMagic  ink and others are covered with glitter paper.  I added silver brads and frames to pull the layout together!

Eye of the Tiger Dance Reciatal 2007

This layout is a her gymnastics routine so i decided to  pull things from her costume!  I have part of her hat, belt and fringe added to the layout! I attached the ghost letters with snaps!  I also blinged up an old Little Davis frame and an old slide mount!  I used the curly chippboard as a border and anchored the bottom of the layout with Boschers!!

I used laser cut lace paper, chipboard flourishes and letters, lots of flowers and the centers are the Robins Nest pebbles.  I just love this one--why? could it be all of the flowers or just that adorable ballerina?

This layout is a combination of using some of my old "stuff" --ghost letter, Bazzil cards, Making Memories rub ons, 7 Gypsies tape, Technique Tues day chipboard to differ size chipboard letters!

Hey Scrappers, yes, it has been awhile and I am trying really hard to keep up with all of you bloggers!!  How do you have the time!!  I am having trouble just taking the pics of the layouts I have done over the last few weeks to put on the blog!!  OH MY GOSH!!  Need lessons.  

I have done 6 layouts at differ stages of Alexis's life--from 2 yrs old to her first dance recital pics at the age of 6yrs old.  Oh, what fun it has been and yes it is ADDICTING!!!!  Where does the madness stop!!  I didn't realize how much STUFF I have and I have got to start using the stuff. See if you can recognize some of the old stuff

I want to send a shout to all of you who stop by my blog and say hello and to all the scrappers who have taken my classes over the last few months!!  Are you using all of the new techniques and using your creative minds to be "Outside the Box??"  Remember, you can not make a mistake-that is creativity in the works!!!  Practice the new things you learned and you will continue to flourish in the scrap booking world!!
